Day 25 – Win Like Eagles — Eat Living Food

Teaching
One of the most defining traits of the eagle is its uncompromising appetite for living food. Eagles will never touch what is dead, decaying, or leftover. Their strength, clarity of sight, and ability to soar at high altitudes are directly connected to a diet of fresh, living nourishment. The eagle’s power is sustained by what is alive—and the same is true for every believer called to live in spiritual altitude. We were never designed to survive on stale revelation, old memories of what God said years ago, or yesterday’s spiritual experiences. God created us to feed on His living Word—especially the living promises He has spoken over His children, truths I compiled in my book 7,487 Promises of God, a treasury of every promise crafted to strengthen, guide, and elevate your life. These promises are dynamic, life-giving, and filled with supernatural nutrients designed to build spiritual strength, shape vision, and fuel destiny.
This is why my book The Miracle Is in Your Mouth is so important. It teaches what eagles already know by instinct: your spirit must feed on what carries life, not what carries death. When you put God’s Word in your mouth, declare His promises, and speak what He has said, you nourish your inner man with the fresh food of Heaven. Dead words drain strength while living promises release it. Dead talk clouds your vision while God’s spoken Word sharpens it. Dead thinking grounds you while God’s living Word lifts you into your God-ordained altitude. What you speak becomes what you eat, and what you eat becomes the fuel for either your flight or your fall.
Many people spiritually resemble vultures, feeding continually on dead things—negative conversations, fear-driven media, old wounds, stale religion, criticism, doubt, or memories of what God used to do. None of these can sustain spiritual altitude. They drain clarity, weaken faith, and suffocate vision. But when you intentionally feed on the promises of God—fresh, alive, supernatural food—your spirit awakens, your faith strengthens, and your vision expands. The living Word restores what fear attempts to steal, builds what discouragement tries to tear down, and sustains what the storms of life try to weaken.
The reality is simple: no one can soar on dead things. You cannot rise while consuming fear-based words, negative voices, or the dry dust of yesterday’s experiences. Victory requires fresh nourishment. Breakthrough requires living revelation. Destiny requires the intake of God’s promises every single day. When His Word becomes your daily diet, everything inside you begins to lift. Your thoughts rise, your courage grows, your identity stabilizes, and your destiny pulls you upward like the thermal winds beneath an eagle’s wings.
Champions feed on the promises of God daily because their calling requires a living diet. Destiny eagles rise because their spirits are continually nourished with fresh truth. The 7,487 promises of God are Heaven’s living food—sent to sustain you in battle, guide you in confusion, strengthen you in weakness, comfort you in pressure, and elevate you into the fullness of the life God designed for you. Feed on these promises, speak them, meditate on them, and allow them to become the fresh revelation that empowers your daily flight.
Application
1. Identify one “dead food” source you need to release today (negative talk, fear-filled media, draining voices, old mindsets).
2. Choose one promise of God and meditate on it until it becomes living food to your spirit.
3. Speak that promise aloud—just as The Miracle Is in Your Mouth teaches—three times with faith and authority.
Declaration
I declare that I feed on the living promises of God. I refuse every dead, negative, or powerless word. My spirit is nourished, strengthened, and lifted by the living Word of God. The promises I speak become the miracle in my mouth. I rise like an eagle as I feast daily on God’s living truth.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me Your promises as living food for my spirit. In the name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit, nourish me with fresh revelation from Your Word. Remove every dead thing I’ve been feeding on and awaken my heart to the life, strength, and clarity found in Your promises. Let Your living Word elevate me, sustain me, and empower me to soar like the eagle You designed me to be. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
