Week 3 – The Gifts of the Spirit (Days 15–21)

When you were baptized in the Holy Spirit, you didn’t just receive power—you received gifts. These gifts are supernatural abilities that the Spirit distributes to every believer, not for personal status but for the strengthening of the church and the demonstration of Jesus to the world.

Paul wrote: “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all” (1 Corinthians 12:7). That means every believer is included—you have at least one gift of the Spirit, and the Spirit desires to manifest through you. The key is learning to recognize, welcome, and yield to Him. Each day this week, begin with a simple prayer: “Hello Holy Spirit, I welcome You. Use me today in Your gifts.”

The nine gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:8–10) are often grouped into three categories. These gifts are not decorations—they are tools of service. They meet needs, confirm the gospel, strengthen believers, and glorify Jesus. Revival history and the book of Acts are filled with testimonies of ordinary people saying, “Hello Holy Spirit, I welcome You,” and then seeing Him move through gifts of wisdom, healing, miracles, or prophecy.

A Word for the Week

This week is more than a study—it’s an invitation to step into the supernatural lifestyle that Jesus promised. The gifts of the Spirit are not relics of the past or reserved for “special” Christians. They are for you, today, right where you live, work, and serve.

Imagine what could happen if every believer in your group began to walk daily in the Spirit’s gifts: wisdom guiding decisions, healings flowing to the sick, miracles breaking through impossible situations, and prophetic words releasing encouragement and direction. That is what the Spirit longs to do through you.

So approach this week with faith and expectancy. Each day, whisper: “Hello Holy Spirit, I welcome You. Manifest Your gifts in me today.” Then be ready—the Spirit may speak, stir, or move through you in ways you’ve never experienced before.

Let’s not just learn about the gifts—let’s activate them, walk in them, and allow the world to see Jesus through us.
