Day 19 – The Working of Miracles

Scripture

“To another the working of miracles.” — 1 Corinthians 12:10

Promise

The Holy Spirit works miracles through believers to reveal God’s glory, break natural limitations, and demonstrate the Kingdom of heaven on earth.

Quote

“A miracle is God’s power interrupting the natural order to accomplish His supernatural purpose.” — Dr. Daniel LeBlanc

Devotion

The Working of Miracles is one of the Power Gifts of the Spirit. While healings restore what is broken, miracles go further—they are divine interventions that override natural law to bring about God’s will. All throughout Scripture, miracles were the sign of God’s power at work:

  • Moses parted the Red Sea and struck a rock to bring water.

  • Joshua commanded the sun to stand still.

  • Elijah called down fire from heaven.

  • Jesus turned water into wine, fed thousands with a few loaves and fish, and walked on water.

In Acts, miracles confirmed the gospel everywhere the Spirit was poured out. Prison doors flew open for Paul and Silas. Shadows and handkerchiefs carried power to heal and deliver. Entire cities were turned upside down because the supernatural broke into the natural. The phrase “working of miracles” shows us something important—it is active. The Spirit empowers believers to work with Him in faith and obedience. When we say, “Hello Holy Spirit, I welcome You,” we are partnering with Him to step into moments where heaven touches earth. Miracles still happen today. They are not limited to Bible times or revival history—they are part of the Spirit’s ongoing ministry through the church. They show the world that our God is alive and active, not distant or powerless.

Let’s make some application now. Where do you need God to interrupt the natural order? Is it in finances, family, health, or ministry? Pray boldly: “Hello Holy Spirit, I welcome You. Work miracles in me and through me today.” Then step out in faith—declare His Word, act in obedience, and expect the supernatural to break in.

Declaration

I am baptized in the Holy Spirit, and I walk in the working of miracles. Today I say, “Hello Holy Spirit, I welcome You. Demonstrate heaven’s power through me so the world may see Jesus.”

Prayer

Hello Holy Spirit, I welcome You. Thank You for the gift of miracles. I yield myself to You as a vessel of Your supernatural power. Interrupt the natural order, overturn impossibilities, and glorify Jesus through mighty signs and wonders. Amen.
