Day 18 – Gifts of Healings

Scripture

“To another gifts of healings by the same Spirit.” — 1 Corinthians 12:9

Promise

The Holy Spirit releases gifts of healings to bring restoration to the sick and reveal the compassion of Jesus.

Quote

“Healing is not just proof of God’s power—it is an expression of His love.” — Dr. Daniel LeBlanc

Devotion

The Gifts of Healings are part of the Power Gifts of the Spirit. Notice Paul says “gifts” (plural), showing that there are many ways and manifestations of healing—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Wherever there is brokenness, the Spirit brings healing. All through the Gospels, Jesus healed the sick, cleansed lepers, opened blind eyes, and raised the dead. Acts 10:38 tells us how: “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” This same Spirit now works through believers. In Acts 3, Peter and John declared to the lame man, “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” Instantly he was healed. In Acts 19, even handkerchiefs from Paul’s body carried healing power. These were not human abilities—they were gifts of the Spirit.

Healing still flows today. Testimonies from revivals and ordinary churches alike confirm that the Spirit is still manifesting gifts of healings. Some describe feeling God’s power like fire, electricity, or even waves of peace flowing through them as healing takes place. Many also testify of experiencing His liquid love in those moments, proving that healing is not only about power—it is about love. When you whisper, “Hello Holy Spirit, I welcome You,” you are inviting Him to use you as a vessel of Jesus’ healing touch. Healing doesn’t depend on your ability—it depends on His willingness, which He has already shown through the cross.

Let’s make some application now. Think of someone in your circle who is sick or struggling. Pray for them boldly. Say, “Hello Holy Spirit, I welcome You. Flow through me with gifts of healings in Jesus’ name.” Then lay hands, declare healing, and trust the Spirit to manifest.

Declaration

I am baptized in the Holy Spirit, and I carry gifts of healings. Today I say, “Hello Holy Spirit, I welcome You. Flow through me to bring wholeness and reveal the compassion of Jesus.”

Prayer

Hello Holy Spirit, I welcome You. Thank You for the gifts of healings that show the love and power of Jesus. Use me today as Your vessel. Let healing flow through my hands, my words, and my prayers. Bring restoration to the sick and glorify Jesus through miracles of healing. Amen.
