Promises of Christ’s Reign: 786 -790

786. Promise: Jesus will be refreshed and exalted in victory, reigning forever.

“He will drink from a brook along the way, and so He will lift His head high.” (Psalm 110:7)

787. Promise: Jesus, though rejected, is the foundation of God’s kingdom.

“The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.” (Psalm 118:22)

788. Promise: God’s works, including Christ’s redemptive plan, are wondrous.

“The Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes.” (Psalm 118:23)

789. Promise: God’s covenant ensures a lasting kingdom through David’s lineage, fulfilled in Jesus Christ.

“The Lord swore an oath to David, a sure oath He will not revoke: ‘One of your own descendants I will place on your throne.’” (Psalm 132:11)

790. Promise: God empowers and establishes His chosen one, ultimately fulfilled in Christ.

“Here I will make a horn grow for David and set up a lamp for My anointed one.” (Psalm 132:17)
