836. Promise: God will bring back your lost loved ones and deliver your descendants.

“I will return your children from the distant lands of the enemy.” (Jeremiah 31:16)

837. Promise: God is our fortress and stronghold in trouble.

“The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him.” (Nahum 1:7)

838. Promise: God delivers from terror and traps when we dwell in His shelter.

“He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.” (Psalm 91:3)

839. Promise: God’s presence goes with you and gives you rest.

“My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” (Exodus 33:14)

840. Promise: God will break down prison doors and set free those who are bound.

“He broke down their prison gates of bronze; he cut apart their bars of iron.” (Psalm 107:16)
