Promises of Deliverance 831-835
831. Promise: God hears our prayers and delivers from all fears.
“In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles.” (Psalm 34:6)
832. Promise: God will free captives and release prisoners from darkness.
“I will say to the prisoners, ‘Come out in freedom,’ and to those in darkness, ‘Come into the light.’” (Isaiah 49:9)
833. Promise: God sets the captives free and opens blind eyes.
“He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and
prisoners will be freed.” (Isaiah 61:1)
834. Promise: God’s arm is never too short to save.
“Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.” (Isaiah 59:1)
835. Promise: God will contend with those who contend with you and save your children.
“I will fight those who fight you, and I will save your
children.” (Isaiah 49:25)
