Promises 986-990

986. Promise: God restores lost years with abundance.

“The threshing floors will again be piled high with grain, and the presses will overflow with new wine and olive oil.” (Joel 2:24–25)

987. Promise: God will not reject a broken and repentant heart.

“The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.” (Psalm 51:17)

988. Promise: God gives His Spirit to empower you to overcome.

“And you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.” (Acts 1:8)

989. Promise: God is your refuge and will keep you safe.

“But let all who take refuge in you rejoice… Spread your protection over them.” (Psalm 5:11)

990. Promise: God quiets you with His love and sings over you.

“With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” (Zephaniah 3:17)
