Promises of Deliverance
981. Promise: God delivers from oppression and declares freedom.
“I have heard the cries of the people of Israel… Now go, for I am sending you to Pharaoh. You must lead my people out of Egypt.” (Exodus 3:7–10)
982. Promise: God upholds you when you fall and lifts you when you’re bowed down.
“The Lord helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads.” (Psalm 145:14)
983. Promise: God gives you a way of escape and grace to endure.
“He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand… he will show you a way out so that you can endure.” (1 Corinthians 10:13)
984. Promise: God will rescue His faithful ones.
“For the Lord loves justice, and he will never abandon the godly.” (Psalm 37:28)
985. Promise: God is your hiding place and protects you from trouble.
“For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble.” (Psalm 32:7)
992. Promise: God opens prison doors and sets captives free.
“He led prisoners from prison, blind men from dungeons.” (Isaiah 42:7)
993. Promise: God redeems your life from destruction and crowns you with love.
“He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies.” (Psalm 103:4)
994. Promise: God is our rock, fortress, and deliverer.
“The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior.” (2 Samuel 22:2)
995. Promise: God saves us from violent enemies and is our stronghold.
“My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation.” (2 Samuel 22:3)
