Promises 976-980

976. Promise: God rescues the poor and afflicted who have no helper.

“He will rescue the poor when they cry to him… He will redeem them from oppression and violence.” (Psalm 72:12–14)

977. Promise: God makes your enemies leave you in peace.

“When people’s lives please the Lord, even their enemies are at peace with them.” (Proverbs 16:7)

978. Promise: God will save you when you call upon Him.

“For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

979. Promise: God keeps His covenant of love to those who love and obey Him.

“I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands.” (Exodus 20:6)

980. Promise: God restores and strengthens you after suffering.

“In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you.” (1 Peter 5:10)
