Promises of Deliverance 971-975

971. Promise: God lifts your head and restores your confidence.

“But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high.” (Psalm 3:3)

972. Promise: God surrounds you with songs of deliverance.

“For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory.” (Psalm 32:7)

973. Promise: God gives you power to overcome the evil one.

“I have written to you… because God’s word lives in your hearts, and you have won your battle with the evil one.” (1 John 2:14)

974. Promise: God delivers those who trust in His name.

“Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.” (Psalm 9:10)

975. Promise: God gives hope and a future, delivering from despair.

“For I know the plans I have for you… plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
