Promises of Deliverance 961-965

961. Promise: The Lord preserves the lives of the godly.

“The Lord protects those of childlike faith.” (Psalm 116:6)

962. Promise: God will not forget your cries and will act on your behalf.

“You have seen me tossing and turning through the night. You have collected all my tears in your bottle.” (Psalm 56:8)

963. Promise: God brings relief and renewal when you are under pressure.

“We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure… But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God.” (2 Corinthians 1:8–9)

964. Promise: God strengthens your spirit and makes you stand firm.

“Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ.” (2 Corinthians 1:21)

965. Promise: God is your ever-present help when others forsake you.

“Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord will hold me close.” (Psalm 27:10)
