Promises of Deliverance 956-960

956. Promise: God brings liberty to those held captive by fear.

“Because God’s children are human beings… he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.” (Hebrews 2:14–15)

957. Promise: The Lord hears your cry and re- deems your life from the pit.

“He lifted me out of the pit of despair… and gave me a new song to sing.” (Psalm 40:2–3)

958. Promise: God delivers you for the sake of His name and covenant.

“Help us, O God of our salvation! Help us for the glory of your name. Save us and forgive our sins for the honor of your name.” (Psalm 79:9)

959. Promise: God will lead you out with joy and protect your journey.

“You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song…” (Isaiah 55:12)

960. Promise: God promises to redeem you with His outstretched arm.

“I will rescue you from your slavery in Egypt. I will redeem you with a powerful arm and great acts of judgment.” (Exodus 6:6)
