Promises of Deliverance 951-955

951. Promise: God silences the voice of the ene- my and speaks peace to His people.

“The Lord speaks peace to his faithful people.” (Psalm 85:8)

952. Promise: God saves those who are humble and brings down the proud.

“You rescue the humble, but you humiliate the proud.” (Psalm 18:27)

953. Promise: God brings sudden deliverance when we least expect it.

“At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” (2 Corinthians 6:2)

954. Promise: God is your defender and will fight for you.

“The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” (Exodus 14:14)

955. Promise: God restores what the enemy has stolen.

“I will give you back what you lost to the swarming locusts…” (Joel 2:25)
