946. Promise: God promises to bless and rescue those who are poor and needy.

“But he will rescue the poor when they cry to him; he will help the oppressed.” (Psalm 72:12)

947. Promise: God provides rest for the weary soul.

“I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.” (Jeremiah 31:25)

948. Promise: God satisfies the longing soul and fills the hungry.

“For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.” (Psalm 107:9)

949. Promise: God watches over your path and preserves your way.

“For the Lord watches over the path of the godly.” (Psalm 1:6)

950. Promise: God delivers from lies and deception.

“Rescue me, O Lord, from liars and from all deceitful people.” (Psalm 120:2)
