Promises of Deliverance 921-925

921. Promise: God lifts the poor and needy out of ash heaps.

“He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump.” (Psalm 113:7)

922. Promise: God breaks the power of the wicked and strengthens the godly.

“For the strength of the wicked will be shattered, but the Lord takes care of the godly.” (Psalm 37:17)

923. Promise: God will never abandon the righteous.

“Day by day the Lord takes care of the innocent… they will not be disgraced in hard times.” (Psalm 37:18–19)

924. Promise: God promises peace in the midst of trouble.

“When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.” (Psalm 94:19)

925. Promise: God helps us escape snares laid by the enemy.

“We escaped like a bird from a hunter’s trap. The trap is broken, and we are free!” (Psalm 124:7)
