926. Promise: God protects us from hidden dangers.
“Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday.” (Psalm 91:6)
927. Promise: God restores those who return to Him in repentance.
“Return to the Lord your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.” (Joel 2:13)
928. Promise: God removes guilt and shame through forgiveness.
“Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!” (Psalm 32:1)
929. Promise: God brings justice to the oppressed and judgment to evildoers.
“Truth springs up from the earth, and righteousness smiles down from heaven.” (Psalm 85:11)
930. Promise: God rescues us when we call on Him in the day of trouble.
“Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.” (Psalm 50:15)
