Promise of Comfort: Promises 761-765

761. Promise: God encourages His people through community and fellowship.

“When the uproar had ended, Paul sent for the disciples and, after encouraging them, said goodbye and set out for Macedonia.” (Acts 20:1)

762. Promise: God brings comfort and strength to His followers.

“He traveled through that area, speaking many words of encouragement to the people.” (Acts 20:2)

763. Promise: God’s presence is with you in every storm.

“But now I urge you to keep up your courage, because not one of you will be lost; only the ship will be destroyed.” (Acts 27:22)

764. Promise: God uses His servants to bring hope and encouragement.

“I urge you to take some food. You need it to survive. Not one of you will lose a single hair from his head.” (Acts 27:34)

765. Promise: God brings peace and encouragement to His church.

“After Paul and Silas came out of the prison, they went to Lydia’s house, where they met with the brothers and sisters and encouraged them.” (Acts 16:40)
