Promise of Comfort — Promises 751 - 755

751. Promise: God is a refuge for those who suffer in this life.

“Now he is comforted here, and you are in agony.” (Luke 16:25)

752. Promise: God desires to protect and comfort you under His care.

“How often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings.” (Luke 13:34)

753. Promise: God offers eternal comfort and joy to those who trust Him.

“The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side.” (Luke 16:22)

754. Promise: God encourages His people through community and fellowship.

“When the uproar had ended, Paul sent for the disciples and, after encouraging them, said goodbye and set out for Macedonia.” (Acts 20:1)

755. Promise: God brings comfort and strength to His followers.

“He traveled through that area, speaking many words of encouragement to the people.” (Acts 20:2)
