746. Promise: God’s Word is a source of hope and comfort to the weary.
“This is the word the Lord spoke to Baruch.” (Jeremiah 45:1)
747. Promise: The Lord will turn mourning into joy.
“Then young women will dance and be glad, young men and old as well. I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.” (Jeremiah 31:13)
748. Promise: God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
“He will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” (Revelation 7:17)
