Promises 1231-1235

1231. Promise: You are rescued from fear of death.

“Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.” (Hebrews 2:15)

1232. Promise: You are seated with Christ in heavenly places.

“For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians 2:6)

1233. Promise: Jesus has overcome the world, so you can have peace.

“Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

1234. Promise: The Spirit of the Lord gives you freedom.

“For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” (2 Corinthians 3:17)

1235. Promise: You have access to God through Jesus.

“Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence.” (Ephesians 3:12)
