Promises 1041-1045

1041. Promise: God gives grace to endure affliction with joy.

“We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials… for we know that they help us develop endurance.” (Romans 5:3)

1042. Promise: God’s power is made perfect in your weakness.

“My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)

1043. Promise: The Lord is close to those crushed in spirit.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” (Psalm 34:18)

1044. Promise: God gives you peace that guards your heart and mind.

“His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7)

1045. Promise: The Lord keeps you safe from the traps of the enemy.

“He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.” (Psalm 91:3)
