Promises 1036-1040

1036. Promise: The Lord will rescue you from every evil attack.

“The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly Kingdom.” (2 Timothy 4:18)

1037. Promise: God has not given you a spirit of fear.

“God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.” (2 Timothy 1:7)

1038. Promise: You are more than a conqueror through Christ.

“No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.” (Romans 8:37)

1039. Promise: God causes everything to work together for good.

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God.” (Romans 8:28)

1040. Promise: The Lord surrounds His people both now and forever.

“Just as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people.” (Psalm 125:2)
