Promises 741-745

741. Promise: God rewards those who listen to wise counsel with success.

“Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.” (Proverbs 15:22)

742. Promise: God offers protection and strength to those who remain humble and avoid evil.

“Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.” (Proverbs 3:7)

743. Promise: God grants continued growth in wisdom to those who listen and seek un- derstanding.

“A wise man will hear and increase learning, and a man of understanding will attain wise counsel.” (Proverbs 1:5)

744. Promise: God promises that those who act with prudence will make wise decisions.

“The wisdom of the prudent is to give thought to their ways, but the folly of fools is deception.” (Proverbs 14:8)

745. Promise: God’s plans and wisdom are per- fect, bringing about His magnificent purposes.

“All this also comes from the Lord Almighty, whose plan is wonderful, whose wisdom is magnificent.” (Isaiah 28:29)
