Day 8: Fear Has No Legal Right Over You
Day 8: Fear Has No Legal Right Over You
Scripture:
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
—Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
“When fear comes knocking, God’s promise keeps the door closed.”
— Dr. Daniel LeBlanc
Reflection:
Fear tries to push into your life like an aggressive trespasser, but it has no legal right to stay. If you belong to God, fear is already defeated and has no authority over you. God Himself has issued the decree over your life: “Fear not, for I am with you.” His presence is not temporary. His help is not occasional. His promises are your permanent legal covering. You are not powerless, and you are not left to figure things out on your own. When God says He will uphold you with His righteous right hand, He is revealing something profound. In biblical terms, the right hand symbolizes power, authority, and victory. God’s right hand is the place of ultimate strength and dominion. His right hand is not just strong—it is righteously strong, meaning His strength upholding you is backed by His perfect justice, His unbreakable promises, and His absolute faithfulness. When God upholds you with His righteous right hand, it means He personally takes hold of your life, undergirds you with His authority, and guarantees that no enemy can tear you down. You are being carried by the hand that created the heavens and the earth, the hand that shattered the enemy’s plans at the cross, and the hand that now holds your destiny secure. Because of this truth, you never have to entertain fear, dread, or anxiety. Fear may knock loudly, but you have the authority to answer it with God’s Word. Instead of confessing what fear suggests, confess His promises.
Declare boldly:
“Fear, you have no right here! God is with me. God is strengthening me. God is upholding me with His righteous right hand! Victory doesn’t come by feeling fearless—it comes by standing on God’s covenant, refusing fear’s lies, and trusting the everlasting strength that already upholds you. Today, if fear tries to intimidate you, remind it that you are carried by the hand of God Himself. His hand does not fail. His hand does not weaken. His hand upholds you until the battle is won.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank You that fear has no legal right over me. You are my God. You are with me. You strengthen me. You uphold me with Your righteous right hand. I refuse to be moved by fear, and I refuse to agree with the lies of the enemy. I confess today that Your hand is holding me, securing me, and lifting me into victory. Thank You that because of You, I am steady, unshaken, and full of supernatural peace! In Jesus name, Amen.
