Day 20: I Am Anointed for This
Day 20: I Am Anointed for This
Scripture:
“But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.”— 1 John 2:20 (NKJV)
The Promise:
God has already anointed you with supernatural insight and divine purpose—start declaring it.
Devotional:
You are not empty. You are not unequipped. You are not under-qualified. The moment you received Christ, you received His anointing—the divine enablement to do what He’s called you to do.
But too often, your mouth says the opposite:
Ø “I don’t know what I’m doing.”
Ø “I’m not cut out for this.”
Ø “I’m not as gifted as others.”
These words don’t just reflect doubt—they invite defeat. They train your soul to forget what Heaven has already deposited. But 1 John 2:20 doesn’t say you might be anointed—it says you are. And the same anointing that breaks yokes (Isaiah 10:27) also equips you for assignments.
When you declare “I am anointed,” you’re not bragging—you’re agreeing with God. You’re activating the oil He’s already placed on your life. You stop disqualifying yourself and start stepping into divine confidence.
Radical change begins when your words stop highlighting your insecurities and start highlighting your anointing.
Declaration Prayer:
Father, I change the way I think about myself. I am not inadequate—I am anointed. I have divine insight, supernatural wisdom, and spiritual power from the Holy One. I cancel every word of fear, inferiority, or comparison that I’ve spoken over my life. I declare that I am anointed for every assignment You’ve given me. Your oil empowers me, Your Spirit leads me, and Your favor surrounds me. I say what You say: I am chosen, called, and anointed for such a time as this. In Jesus’ name, amen!
