Day 19: Call Yourself Blessed
Day 19: Call Yourself Blessed
Scripture:
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.”— Ephesians 1:3 (NKJV)
The Promise:
You are already blessed in Christ—completely, eternally, and supernaturally. Now it’s time to speak like it.
Devotional:
You don’t become blessed when you feel it—you are blessed because God says you are. Ephesians 1:3 makes it clear: every spiritual blessing already belongs to you in Christ. Not some. Not most. Every. Single. One.
But here’s the disconnect: most believers don’t talk like they’re blessed. They talk like they’re burdened, broke, forgotten, or cursed. Their language reveals a mindset of lack rather than the identity of abundance.
Your words are the steering wheel of your life. When you call yourself blessed—even when circumstances suggest otherwise—you’re not denying reality; you’re declaring higher truth. And that declaration shifts your atmosphere, your mindset, and your future.
Stop saying things like:
Ø “I can’t catch a break.”
Ø “Nothing good ever happens to me.”
Ø “I’m always struggling.”
These phrases are not harmless. They are anti-blessing decrees. They train your heart to expect lack and your mouth to reinforce it. But when you say, “I am blessed with every spiritual blessing,” you realign your inner world with Heaven’s perspective—and your outer world will follow.
Radical change begins when you stop describing your problems and start declaring your portion.
Declaration Prayer:
Father, I change the way I think about blessing. I am not waiting to be blessed—I already am in Christ. I reject the language of lack, defeat, and despair. I call myself blessed—spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and financially. I speak favor over my life, my family, and my calling. I declare that every spiritual blessing is mine and will manifest through my faith-filled words. I bless what You’ve blessed, and I speak abundance over every dry place. In Jesus’ name, amen!
