Week 6: Hello Holy Spirit

How to Flow in the Holy Spirit

Days 36–40

Introduction

Many believers make flowing with the Holy Spirit seem complicated—like you need perfect words, dramatic feelings, or a stage to move in His power. But the truth is simple: the flesh complicates, the Spirit simplifies. Flowing with Him isn’t about striving harder—it’s about yielding deeper.

Jesus described the Spirit as “rivers of living water” flowing out of your innermost being (John 7:38). Rivers don’t need to be forced; they flow naturally when unhindered. In the same way, the Spirit flows when you remove the blockages of self-consciousness, people-pleasing, and fear of circumstances.

Isaiah 6 reminds us: self-focus can paralyze us. Mark 5 shows us: the opinions of others will always be divided—some will praise, others will criticize. Philippians 4 and Romans 8 teach us: circumstances don’t matter, because Christ strengthens us and nothing can separate us from His love. And Galatians 5 calls us to walk in the Spirit—relaxed, yielded, and carried by His leading.

This week, let’s fall in love with the simplicity of His flow. Every “Hello Holy Spirit” becomes an invitation: not my focus, not their opinion, not these circumstances—but Your flow, Lord.

Daily Focus (Days 36–40)

  • Day 36 – The River Within: The Spirit is a river of living water flowing from your innermost being (John 7:38).

  • Day 37 – Forget Self: To flow in the Spirit, shift your focus from self to Jesus (Isaiah 6:1–5).

  • Day 38 – Forget Others’ Opinions: Flowing requires freedom from people’s praise or criticism—say what God says and leave the results to Him (Mark 5:1–20).

  • Day 39 – Forget Circumstances: Circumstances don’t determine the Spirit’s flow—faith and obedience do (Philippians 4:12–13; Romans 8:31–39).

  • Day 40 – Walking in the Spirit: Flowing is a lifestyle—walking daily in surrender, led by the Spirit’s gentle rhythm (Galatians 5:16–18).
