The Indwelling Spirit: Heaven Within You
When you became a Christian, something supernatural happened that was greater than a simple change in religious status—you received the very Spirit of God. At the moment of your new birth, the Holy Spirit came to dwell inside of you. God’s Spirit is not given in fractions or portions. You did not receive a little of Him or just enough to “get by.” You received all of the Holy Spirit the very moment you were born again.
You didn’t receive a ticket to heaven for one day when you die—you received heaven inside of you the moment you received the Holy Spirit. Heaven, then, is not just a reward for someday in the future (though it is gloriously true); heaven lives in you now. The King of heaven Himself makes His home in your heart through the indwelling Holy Spirit, and that reality transforms how you live on earth today.
This means the Spirit’s presence is not about you “getting more” of Him—it is about Him getting more of you. The Spirit of God is limitless, but the degree to which His life and power flow through you is connected to your surrender. The more you yield, the more He manifests through your life.

Day 7 – The Spirit of Power: The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead energizes your life with resurrection power.
The Journey Ahead
As you enter Week 1, don’t just think about the Spirit as a doctrine to believe in—think of Him as a Person to welcome. Heaven has already moved in. The Spirit of God is already inside you, waiting to flow through every part of your life. Your role is simply to yield.
This is the beginning of a journey where you will learn to stop striving to “get more of God” and start surrendering so He can flow more fully through you.
