Hello Holy Spirit Day 1

Day 1 – You Already Got Him

Scripture:
“Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” — 1 Corinthians 3:16 (NKJV)

The Spirit of God lives inside of you—you are His temple, His dwelling place forever.

Devotion:

The moment you received Jesus Christ as Lord, you were not just given forgiveness—you were given the third Person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit. He didn’t give you a fraction of Himself, or a junior version of His Spirit. No—He gave you all of Himself. The fullness of the Spirit, the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, now dwells in you.

This means you don’t need to beg for more of the Holy Spirit—you already have Him. The real question is, how much of you does He have? The more you surrender your will, your thoughts, your emotions, and your actions to Him, the more His presence and power will manifest through your life.

You didn’t receive a ticket to heaven one day when you die—you received heaven inside of you the moment you received the Holy Spirit. Heaven, then, is not only a reward for after death (though that is true), but a reality that lives in you right now. The King of heaven, Jesus Christ, makes His home in your heart through the indwelling Holy Spirit, and that reality transforms how you live on earth today.

Every morning, when you greet Him by saying, “Hello Holy Spirit,” you are reminding yourself that heaven already dwells within you, and you are welcoming Him to flow freely through your life. “Hello Holy Spirit” is more than a phrase—it is an invitation, a recognition, and a surrender. It is how you begin to live in fellowship with the One who empowers you to reveal Jesus to the world.

Declaration:
I declare that I already have the Holy Spirit living in me. I will not strive for what I already possess—I will surrender daily so His power and glory flow through me.

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, thank You for living inside of me. Teach me to surrender more of myself so that more of Your presence can be seen in my life. Remind me daily that heaven already dwells in me through You. I welcome You—Hello Holy Spirit—flow through me today. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
