Day 24: The Fire Is in You

Scripture:

“He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” — Matthew 3:11 (NKJV)

Quote:

“You’re not waiting on fire to fall—the flame is already in your spirit.”

— Dr. Daniel LeBlanc

Devotional:

You don’t need to beg for fire from Heaven. You’ve already been lit. When you received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, Jesus Himself ignited a supernatural flame in your spirit. This isn’t a symbolic flicker—it’s the same fire that burned in the bush before Moses, the same fire that fell on the altar at Mount Carmel, the same fire that danced above the heads of the apostles on the Day of Pentecost. And now, that holy fire lives in you. But here’s the secret: fire must be fed. Even God’s fire can grow dim if we starve it of oxygen. That’s why Paul told Timothy to “fan into flame the gift of God” (2 Timothy 1:6). You were never meant to live lukewarm, dry, or passionless. You are designed to burn bright with the love of Jesus and the power of the Spirit.

Worship is your bellows. Prayer is your fuel. The Word of God is your spark. Obedience is your wildfire. The more you surrender, the hotter the flame. The more you stir, the brighter it blazes. Don’t wait for the next conference, the next prophet, or the next “move of God.” You are the move of God. You carry revival fire on the inside. Everywhere you go, the atmosphere should shift—not because fire is falling, but because fire is flowing. The fire is not just for Sunday services—it’s for Monday mornings, traffic jams, hospital rooms, and daily decisions. So stir it up. Fan the flame. Let your passion burn holy and hot. You are not a candle barely flickering. You are a blazing torch—lit by the hand of Jesus.

Declaration:

The fire of the Holy Spirit is burning in me! I am ablaze with love for Jesus. Every part of me is ignited with passion and power. I don’t wait for fire—I carry it. I don’t shrink back—I burn forward. Revival is not coming—I’m already on fire!

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, thank You for baptizing me with fire. Forgive me for letting that flame flicker through distraction, compromise, or fear. Today, I stir it up! Breathe on me again. I fan into flame the passion, the calling, and the anointing You’ve placed within me. Let me burn with love for Jesus and set others ablaze with Your presence. In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.
