Promises of Deliverance 806-810

806. Promise: God lifts us out of the pit and sets our feet on solid ground.

“He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.” (Psalm 40:2)

807. Promise: God saves those who call on Him with a sincere heart.

“The Lord is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth.” (Psalm 145:18)

808. Promise: God delivers the righteous from all their troubles.

“The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.” (Psalm 34:19)

809. Promise: God is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” (Psalm 34:18)

810. Promise: God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.
