Promises of Deliverance 801-805

801. Promise: God delivers us from the hands of violent, evil people.

“Deliver me, O Lord, from evil men; preserve me from violent men, who plan evil things in their hearts…” (Psalm 140:1)

802. Promise: God promises to save His people with His mighty arm and break their chains.

“Yet in the end they will be saved!… I will break the yoke from their necks and snap their chains.” (Jeremiah 30:7–8)

803. Promise: God will keep us safe from wicked people and rescue us from their cruel hands.

“Yes, I will certainly keep you safe from these wicked men. I will rescue you from their cruel hands.” (Jeremiah 15:21)

804. Promise: God will surround and protect His people like a shield.

“For you bless the godly, O Lord; you surround them with your shield of love.” (Psalm 5:12)

805. Promise: God rescues those who take refuge in Him.

“The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.” (Psalm 9:9)
