Promises 996-1000

996. Promise: Christ is the gate to salvation and abundant life.

“I am the gate. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved.” (John 10:9)

997. Promise: In Christ we have victory over sin and death.

“But thanks be to God! He gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 15:57)

998. Promise: The weapons we fight with are powerful to destroy strongholds.

“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world… they have divine power to demolish strongholds.” (2 Corinthians 10:4)

999. Promise: God hears cries and delivers the righteous from all troubles.

“The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help; he rescues them from all their troubles.” (Psalm 34:17)

1000. Promise: God rescues those in trouble with His mighty hand.

“Call to me in the day of trouble; I will rescue you.” (Psalm 50:15)
