“The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles.” (Psalm 34:17)

“‘Lord, help!’ they cried in their trouble, and he rescued them from their distress.” (Psalm 107:6)

899. Promise: God makes a way in the wilderness and brings life to barren places.

“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:19)

900. Promise: God strengthens those who trust Him and holds them securely.

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)
