Promises of Comfort: Promises 771 - 775

771. Promise: God will never leave you or forsake you.

“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5)

772. Promise: You can trust the Lord to be your helper—you need not be afraid.

“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” (Hebrews 13:6)

773. Promise: God’s hope is like an anchor that steadies your soul.

“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” (Hebrews 6:19)

774. Promise: God’s peace is eternal, and He is the Great Shepherd who restores and leads you.

“Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep.” (Hebrews 13:20)

775. Promise: God promises to defeat death and comfort His people, wiping away every tear.

“He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces.” (Isaiah 25:8)
