Promises 686-690

686. Promise: God promises to be an eternal refuge, offering His everlasting support to His people.

“The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.” (Deuteronomy 33:27)

687. Promise: God promises to provide peace and safety, giving His people the rest and security they need.

“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for You alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.” (Psalm 4:8)

688. Promise: God promises to be a strong, protective refuge for His people in times of danger.

“For You have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe.” (Psalm 61:3)

689. Promise: God promises to love justice and to remain with His faithful people, never abandoning them.

“For the Lord loves justice and will not abandon His faithful ones.” (Psalm 37:28)

690. Promise: God promises to protect and provide for the vulnerable and to thwart the plans of the wicked.

“The Lord watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but He frustrates the ways of the wicked.” (Psalm 146:9)
