Promises 551-555

551. Promise: God promises to listen to the prayers of the righteous while opposing those who do evil.

“For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” (1 Peter 3:12)

552. Promise: God promises to protect His people, keeping them safely under His loving care.

“Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings.” (Psalm 17:8)

553. Promise: God promises to be with His people, giving them strength and courage to face any challenge without fear.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)

554. Promise: God promises to keep His people safe from harm and evil, shielding them from disaster and plague.

“No evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent.” (Psalm 91:10)

555. Promise: God promises that the fear of the Lord brings life and protection from the dangers of death.

“The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, turning a person from the snares of death.” (Proverbs 14:27)
