Promises 1156-1160

1156. Promise: God keeps His covenant of love with those who love Him.

“He keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.” (Deuteronomy 7:9)

1157. Promise: The Lord brings peace in the storm.

“He calmed the storm to a whisper and stilled the waves.” (Psalm 107:29)

1158. Promise: He restores your joy and salvation.

“Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you.” (Psalm 51:12)

1159. Promise: The Lord lifts the humble and gives grace to the lowly.

“And he gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say, ‘God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.’” (James 4:6)

1160. Promise: God revives those who repent and return to Him.

“Return to me so that I may return to you.” (Malachi 3:7)
