Promises 1151-1155

1151. Promise: God gives peace that surpasses understanding.

“Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.” (Philippians 4:7)

1152. Promise: He refreshes your soul and leads you to rest.

“He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.” (Psalm 23:2)

1153. Promise: The Lord will fight your battles for you.

“Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today.” (Exodus 14:13)

1154. Promise: God’s strength is perfected in your weakness.

“My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)

1155. Promise: The Lord saves those who are crushed in spirit.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” (Psalm 34:18)
