Promises 1086-1090

1086. Promise: The Lord hides you under the shadow of His wings.

“Hide me in the shadow of your wings.” (Psalm 17:8)

1087. Promise: God makes your enemies flee before you.

“The Lord will cause your enemies… to be defeated before you.” (Deuteronomy 28:7)

1088. Promise: God removes disgrace and gives you honor.

“Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor.” (Isaiah 61:7)

1089. Promise: The Lord will be your light even in darkness.

“Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.” (Micah 7:8)

1090. Promise: God restores double for your trouble.

“Return to your stronghold… I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles.” (Zechariah 9:12)
