Promise 1081-1085

1081. Promise: You can lie down in peace because the Lord watches over you.

“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.” (Psalm 4:8)

1082. Promise: The Lord promises to repay what was stolen or devoured.

“I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten.” (Joel 2:25)

1083. Promise: God will deliver you from deceitful people and enemies.

“Rescue me, O Lord, from liars and from all deceitful people.” (Psalm 120:2)

1084. Promise: The Lord makes your way blameless and gives you light.

“You light a lamp for me. The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness.” (Psalm 18:28)

1085. Promise: God redeems your life from destruction.

“He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies.” (Psalm 103:4)
