Promises 1016-1020

1016. Promise: God silences enemies and avengers through praise.

“You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength, silencing your enemies.” (Psalm 8:2)

1017. Promise: God preserves you from trouble and surrounds you with joy.

“For you are my hiding place… you surround me with songs of victory.” (Psalm 32:7)

1018. Promise: The Lord preserves your soul and delivers your life from death.

“For you have rescued me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.” (Psalm 116:8)

1019. Promise: He delivers from the power of sin and brings eternal life.

“Now you are free from your slavery to sin… the result is eternal life.” (Romans 6:22)

1020. Promise: He gives grace in time of need.

“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God… we will receive his mercy and find grace.” (Hebrews 4:16)
