Promises 1006-1010

1006. Promise: God will keep your foot from being caught in a trap.

“The Lord is your security. He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap.” (Proverbs 3:26)

1007. Promise: He gives songs of deliverance to those who trust in Him.

“You are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory.” (Psalm 32:7)

1008. Promise: You will not be afraid of terror or disaster.

“Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day.” (Psalm 91:5)

1009. Promise: God’s plans for you are good, not evil.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans for good and not for disaster.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

1010. Promise: God delivers from pits of despair and sets you on solid ground.

“He lifted me out of the pit of despair… and set my feet on solid ground.” (Psalm 40:2)
