Receiving and Giving Your Christmas Miracle
Christmas is not only about what God gave to the world-it is also about what He entrusted to humanity. The miracle of Christmas began when Mary received Jesus, but it was fulfilled when she gave Him to the world. That same divine rhythm still defines our calling today: receive the miracle, then release the miracle. We receive our Christmas miracle when we welcome Jesus into our spirit by faith. Just as Mary received the Word spoken over her, we receive Christ through surrender, not striving. The miracle begins internally. Christ is conceived in the spirit-quietly, personally, and powerfully. Heaven deposits its greatest gift within willing hearts. But God never intended the miracle to stop there. What is received in the spirit must be given through the flesh. Mary did not keep Jesus hidden within her; she carried Him until the appointed time, then brought Him forth so the world could see Him.
In the same way, we are called not only to carry Christ, but to share Him. The miracle inside us is meant to become a miracle through us. We give our Christmas miracle when Christ's life is expressed through our words, our actions, and our love. When we forgive, Jesus is given. When we serve, Jesus is given. When we choose humility, compassion, and obedience, we place Christ before a watching world. The miracle is no longer just something we celebrate-it becomes something we demonstrate. Scripture reminds us that Christ in us is the hope of glory. The world is not waiting for another Christmas story; it is waiting for another expression of Christ. God still reveals His Son-now through yielded lives. This Christmas, remember: You received a miracle. Now you are called to give one.
