Day 32: Peace That Consumes Your Heart
Day 32: Peace That Consumes Your Heart
Scripture:
“And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.”
—Colossians 3:15 (NKJV)
“I can’t lose for winning. Even when it seems as though I’m losing, God flips the script and I win again!”
— Dr. Daniel LeBlanc
Reflection:
There is a peace from God that doesn’t just guide me—it consumes me. It doesn’t merely touch the surface of my emotions; it saturates every corner of my mind, heart, and soul. Colossians 3:15 reminds me that I must “let” the peace of God take over. Peace isn’t something that fights for control; it’s something I have to invite and allow to flood every part of who I am. When I let God’s peace consume me, fear loses its place. Anxiety loses its grip. The storm may rage around me, but it can’t penetrate the walls of a heart that is flooded with divine peace. God’s peace isn’t weak or fragile. It is a consuming force, a mighty river that overwhelms fear, overthrows panic, and establishes victory where defeat once tried to live. And here’s what I know without a doubt: I can’t lose for winning. Even when it seems as though I’m losing, God flips the script and I win again! When peace consumes my heart, defeat has no authority over me. I am no longer governed by outward circumstances. I am saturated with the promises of God, and they define my reality—not the storm. I will either be consumed by my circumstances or I will be consumed by His peace. I choose peace. Letting peace consume me means allowing God’s promises to flood my thinking, overtake my emotions, and settle my spirit. It’s not about pretending there’s no storm; it’s about refusing to let the storm consume me when God’s peace already has. Every time I believe, receive, and speak His Word, the waves lose their power and the Prince of Peace rises within me.
Today, I make the decision to “let” peace consume me completely. I give no room to fear. I refuse to be moved by what I see. I am moved only by what God has spoken. His promises saturate me, His peace steadies me, and His victory defines me. I know that no matter what it looks like, I can’t lose for winning because the One who never loses lives inside me.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for offering me peace that doesn’t just comfort me—it consumes me. Today I open every part of my heart to be filled and flooded with Your peace. I surrender my emotions, my fears, and my doubts to You. Saturate me with Your presence. Let Your promises overtake my thinking and Your peace overflow in my spirit. Thank You that even when it looks like I’m losing, You are flipping the script and I am winning again. I choose to be consumed by Your peace today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
