Day 4 – Words Produce Fruit

Day 4 – Words Produce Fruit

 Scripture:

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” — Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV)

 The Promise:

The Lord promises that your words produce fruit—either favor or failure.

 Devotional:

Your words are not empty—they are seeds. And every seed you speak eventually produces a harvest. Proverbs 18:21 says that death and life are in the power of the tongue, and whether you realize it or not, you are eating the fruit of what you’ve planted with your words. If your life feels dry, defeated, or out of order, don’t just look around—listen back. The enemy’s strategy is subtle but deadly: if he can’t destroy you from the outside, he’ll try to get you to curse yourself from the inside. And too often, we help him do it. Phrases like “I’m always sick… I’ll never be enough… I mess everything up… I guess this is just my luck” aren’t just negative—they’re legal agreements in the spirit realm. They give hell permission to operate where Heaven was meant to reign. But there’s breakthrough today: Word curses can be broken, and blessings can be declared. When you reject the lies and align your mouth with God’s promises, you cancel the enemy’s contracts and plant seeds of supernatural destiny. Your words can either hold you hostage or set you free. Don’t empower failure when God has promised favor. Don’t repeat the lie when God has given you truth. Speak blessing. Declare destiny. Plant promises. Your words are writing your future—so write what Heaven is saying.

 Declaration Prayer:

Father, by the power of the Holy Spirit, I take back authority over every word I’ve spoken. I turn away from every curse, every complaint, and every confession of fear, defeat, and failure. I break agreement with the enemy, and I cancel every word curse spoken over me or my family—by my own mouth or by anyone else. I declare that I am blessed, favored, chosen, and victorious! I speak life over my mind, healing over my body, increase over my finances, and fire over my calling. My words are seeds of divine destiny, and I will eat the fruit of God’s promises—not the lies of the enemy. Train my tongue to release power, purpose, and breakthrough. I choose life. I choose blessing. I choose to speak what You say. In Jesus’ mighty name, amen!
