Hello Holy Spirit Day 3
Day 3 – Rivers of Living Water
Scripture: “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” — John 7:38 (NKJV)
Promise: The Holy Spirit within you is not stagnant—He is a river of life flowing out of you to refresh and empower.
Quote:
"The Holy Spirit is fully present. The more you surrender, the more of His power and glory will flow through your life." — Dr. Daniel LeBlanc
Devotion:
When Jesus promised the Spirit, He didn’t describe Him as a pond, a pool, or a trickle. He called Him a river of living water. Rivers are alive, always moving, and impossible to contain. This is the life of the Spirit within you. His presence isn’t meant to sit idle—it is meant to flow, bringing life wherever He goes through you.
This river refreshes your soul when you are weary, cleanses you from the dust of this world, and empowers you to live boldly for Christ. But notice: Jesus said, “out of his heart will flow.” That means the Spirit doesn’t just flow to you—He flows through you. God didn’t place His Spirit within you just for personal comfort; He placed Him there so the world around you can taste and see that the Lord is good.
A river changes the landscape everywhere it flows. It carves valleys, nourishes fields, and sustains life. In the same way, the Spirit within you reshapes your character, waters the seeds of God’s Word in your heart, and turns barren places into fruitful ones. But He also flows outward—touching your family, your workplace, your church, and even strangers who encounter you.
The Holy Spirit is always willing and ready to flow through you. But the floodgates only open when your heart does. As you yield to Him, His river rushes forth—cleansing, refreshing, and empowering you while spilling over into the lives of others. The more surrendered your heart, the greater His flow.
Get to know Him as the river within you—the Friend who refreshes you, the Guide who directs your current, and the constant connection that carries the life of heaven through your words and actions. This is why saying, “Hello Holy Spirit” each day is so powerful: it’s your invitation for His river to flow freely, unhindered, and overflowing into every part of your life.
Declaration:
Hello Holy Spirit—I declare that Your river of life flows in me and through me today. Everywhere I go, You bring refreshing, cleansing, and power.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for filling me with the river of Your Spirit. Thank You that this living water never runs dry and that it flows through me to impact others. Hello Holy Spirit, flow through me today to bring life to those who are thirsty. I thank You for praying for me and through me with Your words through my mouth. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
