Promises of Deliverance 821-825

821. Promise: God is mighty to save and rejoices over us with gladness.

“For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior.” (Zephaniah 3:17)

822. Promise: God provides a way of escape when we’re tempted.

“But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13)

823. Promise: God delivers from the fear of death.

“Because God’s children are human beings… he also became flesh and blood. Only by dying could he break the power of the devil… and set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.” (Hebrews 2:14–15)

824. Promise: God’s power is greater than any weapon formed against us.

“But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed.” (Isaiah 54:17)

825. Promise: God will protect His people from being consumed by fire or overwhelmed by water.

“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you… you will not drown. When you walk through the fire… you will not be burned up.” (Isaiah 43:2)
