876. Promise: God is faithful to complete what He started in us.

“God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished.” (Philippians 1:6)

877. Promise: God gives rest to the weary and burdened.

“Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

878. Promise: God brings us out of darkness into His wonderful light.

“He called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.” (1 Peter 2:9)

879. Promise: God breaks the chains of those enslaved by sin.

“You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32)

880. Promise: God delivers from spiritual blindness and brings us into light.

“I am sending you to open their eyes, so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God.” (Acts 26:17–18)
